CTIPP 2024 Annual Report

It is amazing how, when we reflect on yet another year, it feels like it went so quickly, yet looking back to the beginning of the year seems so long ago. In this annual report, we acknowledge some of the subtle elements of our journey that we may have overlooked as we continued our hard work. You can read more about these insights in the pages ahead in this report. If we had to boil that reflection down to a single word, it would be stability.

At the beginning of the year, we set goals around sustainability and scalability. Our year-over-year funding has increased modestly—about 10%—which aligns with industry standards.

While this growth is to be celebrated, as a small startup organization, we recognize the urgency of increasing our capacity to pursue our mission exponentially. Nonetheless, we have developed a stronger foundation and infrastructure to support our growth moving forward.

Much of this work is tedious and can get lost in the minutia, such as new and improved administrative and HR policies, though some of it is much more exciting, such as program clarity and direction. Staying motivated in this work can be challenging at times. Burnout is a genuine concern that we remain mindful of for our employees, our volunteers, our network, and the movement.

For this reason, and because it serves as a significant milestone marker each year, we celebrate our achievements and progress at the end of the year.

That is what you will find in this report.

It is a pleasure and privilege to serve in leadership roles for this wonderful organization, which plays an important role in a crucial movement. We send sincere gratitude to everyone who has contributed to our progress.

To our staff, thank you for your hard work in making an ambitious mission more tangible. To our board of directors, thank you for your dedicated service and volunteerism in helping the organization navigate its growth.

To the volunteers who contributed to specific projects, as a small organization with limited resources, we could not have achieved so much of what we did without you.

To our network, thank you for your work; you inspire and motivate us daily.

To the movement, we continue to believe in your transformative potential to bring the healing our society and world desperately need.

From a fresh perspective, with the benefit of hindsight, we look forward to what will be accomplished in the year(s) ahead. Always committed to an ongoing process of learning and growth, we know that this time next year, we will be further along in our journey.

Collaboration with talented and dedicated individuals, communities, and organizations worldwide will undoubtedly lead to many new lessons, some of which will be hard.

Still, we remain committed to fostering and inspiring growth toward our mission to create a healthy, just, resilient, and trauma-informed society where all individuals, families, and communities have the social, political, cultural, economic, and spiritual opportunities and support necessary to thrive.

We truly envision a future where individuals, families, organizations, communities, and systems stand empowered to realize their full potential.

Thank you!
